Dear parent, Starting April 1 1999 there will be a new system of payment. Players must pay the training fee up front for the Spring season (10 weeks - $100.00) or pay the first half ($50.00) and then pay the second half ($50.00). I want to avoid collecting money on the day of the practice. Please make checks payable to Javier Rodriguez and send them so that I receive them no later than April 9 1999. The reason I need to receive the money before that date is for the following reason: I reserve the field Monday to Friday from 3:45PM to 5:25PM for practice time. If I do not have enough teams to practice on those days the Dome will rent the fields to somebody else, or they may schedule the league games earlier than 5:30PM.On May 18, 1999 I am going to collect the second half of the Spring sessions fee. I am trying not to collect money on the day of the practice. Please write a check to Javier Rodriguez no later than May 21, 1999. The reason I need to receive the money before that date is for the following reason: I reserve the field Monday to Friday for practice time. If I do not have enough teams to practice those days the Dome will like to rent to somebody else.
May 17 - May 22
6th practice $10.00 / Player May 24 - May 29 7th practice $10.00 / Player May 31 - June 5 8th practice $10.00 / Player June 7 - June 12 9th practice $10.00 / Player June 14 - June 19 10th practice $10.00 / Player
------------------ Total $50.00 / Player I will decide the days the teams will practice during the week. If we run into holidays either I will schedule practice twice a week or the team will decide the day and the time of the practices. Please understand the $50.00 is just for the spring season , it is only for 5 weeks of training. This $50.00 does not include league fee and tournaments fee.
Please understand that there are other expenses for a team to play. The Summer League can cost $300.00 plus a $100.00 referee fee. The fall league will cost $400.00 plus a $100.00 referee fee and the Winter league will cost $500.00 plus a $100.00 referee fee. For weekend tournaments the fee will cost approximately $150.00 to $190.00 per team. There are other expenses such as shirts, shorts, socks, and having the players involved in weight training. In other words, to run teams it costs money. I am trying to get some sponsors to help us with the expenses. If you know of anyone who may be interested in sponsoring, please write to them and request they contact me. Please do not hesitate to attach the name of the Company in your son's or daughter's application. I will appreciate it.

Dear parent,
The purpose of this letter is to inform you about my plans for the future. Last year EPYSA recognized me as an INDOOR TOURNAMENT TEAM and this year I became a CLUB team. My club can play either inside or outside. I have received my registration card (RG-1) with the name Wyoming Valley Soccer Club for the year 1999-2000. On July 19, 1999 Northeast Travel accepted Wyoming Valley Soccer Club in their travel League. I have until August 1, 1999 to put any of my teams in the Northeast Travel League. A player must have their primary pass with Wyoming Valley Soccer Club. By participating in the league in PA it will allow the club to play select tournaments during the year both inside and outside.
The club will provide five different aspects of training:
1.Some teams will like to change their names and become WVSC because the coaches want us to train their teams. However, we will not take over coaching them. 2.Some teams want us to train and coach their teams. 3.Some players do not want to play for their old teams and they will like to continue the training and play for us. 4.Some players want the training and go back to their teams. 5.Last year we offered training and playing at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome. We played during the fall, winter and spring. This year we are offering the same thing in addition to playing outside leagues and tournaments all year long. If a player or team wants to make a commitment with WVSC, the player or team must fill out the proper paperwork. The club does not want the player or team to get in trouble with the EPYSA.
1. A USYSA Player Pass with picture and signature of player 2. A copy of the player's birth certificate 3. An RG-6 "Participant Registration Form" 4. $4.50 player Player fee 5. An RG-4 "Team roster form" 6. Northeast Travel League fee $150.00 per team 7. Training fee (depend of number of players) 8. Coaches fee (tournament or league fee) 9. Tournament or league fee 10. Outside field fee. If there are other important points you need to understand please do not hesitate to call me at (570) 472-3299 or send me an E-mail.
Sincerely,
Javier Rodriguez
